Meet Kamilah and Shanelle, the dynamic duo behind I Heart Makeup. Their love affair with makeup began in 2008, but it was in 2010 that they joined forces and embarked on their careers in makeup artistry. For Kamilah, makeup became a therapeutic outlet after a life-altering accident, while Shanelle’s passion ignited at the tender age of 11. She willingly assisted Kamilah before honing her own artistic skills.
Their journey started with formal training at the Barbados Vocational Board, where they received their initial certification as Makeup Artists. Determined to excel, they further honed their expertise in Bridal Makeup and Airbrush Makeup through the renowned Out of the Beauty Box (O2B2) Extended Tour, led by YouTube makeup gurus Koren Zander and Elessa Jade.
